Who we are, we at l'Artificioſa Rota
We are the Artificioſa Rota: la fiera brigade of close-knit art lovers, in all its many forms: drawing, painting, intarſio, sculpture, photography, cinema, theatre, muſica, dance, literature, poetry… and through all eras all history: ancient, medieval, modern, contemporary… future
Time flies, we run after it!
La noſtra fraglia is a massive and radioſo conglomerate of art and culture lovers. As the old arts and crafts guilds, which met in brotherhoods, looked after the interests of their members and offered a guarantee of quality by taking care of their training.
The name refers to the work of the humanist Giulio Camillo Delminio, perhaps trying to go beyond his thought, adapting it to the times, as they say, to the means and tools that science and technology offer us today.

Our coat of arms is the hypnotic and sunny 'whirlpool of artifice': on our shield, it is recognized by friends and feared by enemies. The arms of our heraldry vary according to the skill of the bearer: pen, pencil, brush, palette knife, palette, diaſpyrophone, diſco, film, mask, machine photographic, chisel, lathe, press... they are innumerable, original and originating: each one is required for a specific technique and can be fed in colour, black and white or monochrome, on the most varied supports, real or virtual.

Our three arts move, wander, live; they are not fiſſe stars, but like stars they shine with the light of the ingenuity that conceived them. We try to tell them.
Our amphitheater of memory for art and the arts has always been open to everyone… anyone can enter; the only three slogans which it is necessary to obey are only the riſ chest, good manners e l 'harmony 'omnibus'. We compete chivalrously with each other: a bit like in Renaissance jousts, we compete. What is beautiful and admirable is that no one is thrown from the saddle, apart from those who do not observe our three fundamental rules.
Art is our philosophy of life: we like to be creative and some of us make 'art', we all write together about art, we talk about it on the occasion of our paticoſe dinners: real banquets with a high cultural content.
We are 'artifice' in a positive sense: we aspire to enrich our language, trying to improve ourselves day by day, and art in a certain sense_cc7 81905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_is our fountain of youth: as philosopher's stone, it bestows a certain immortality, transforming anything it comes into contact with into beauty.
